And just like that, Emma is THREE {cue the tears}.

June 20, 2015 Emma Ruth was born at 6:21am and has been making the world a brighter place ever since. She is the sweetest, funniest, most loving little beauty and I love her fiercely. She may be more particular than me, liking everything in its place and just so. šŸ™‚ She is obsessed with music, art, reading, swimming, animals and stickers.

This morning our home was filled with friends that came to celebrate Emma’s Birthday with us. We are so grateful for these friendships and love watching Emma grow with her friends from school, our neighborhood and beyond. The little bonds being built are so precious. Watching them all hug hello and goodbye makes my heart smile every time.

We went rainbow crazy today and the little girl in me was in heaven! Rainbow balloons, a rainbow inflatable pool, an art station with rainbow coloring sheets, bright markers, starburst and marshmallows to glue on the clouds…rainbow sidewalk chalk, rainbow “Happy Birthday” bunting, you name it and it was rainbow themed/colored. Of course Emma wore a top with a rainbow and her swimsuit was bright with rainbows and ruffles. When you have a theme you really love, you might as well go for it!

Emma, Baby Girl, I hope you never stop singing, dancing and being a ray of beautiful sunshine in this world. Use your strong opinions for good, be a voice for the voiceless, love those who are hurting and never lose your incredible strength. You are a world changer, my darling. X
